Mission Statement:

The Deaf Shalom Zone is a faith based organization that facilitates empowerment and independence opportunities with the culturally Deaf and Deaf/Blind in the community of metropolitan Baltimore, through case management, educational programs and advocacy.  The Deaf Shalom Zone builds relationships with the culturally Deaf and Deaf/Blind, their family members, service providers and volunteers, assists in meeting the un-met needs, and encourages them to identify their gifts for service to others in the community.
